Climbing Guides
New routing on the Costa Blanca has always moved at a fast pace. Far too fast for any published guide book, with many years between editions, to be able to keep up. Many years ago we decided to create free downloads in the a "Mini Guide" series. Primarily to cover the new routes that Rich Mayfield and the Orange House staff and guests have been producing. This not only plugs the gaps between book editions but also increases the coverage of the area. There are so many crags and routes, that it would be impractical to even attempt to cover the area with one book.
Bolt Fund
The Orange House has been running a bolt fund for over 23 years.
The bolts, lower offs and abseil stations are in a constant state of climber lead inspection and repair or replacement. This work in voluntary, with substantial material costs. Which is funded by the volunteers and bolt funds like the Orange House.
Without the support of local and visiting climbers donating a few Euros here and there, the Costa Blanca would not be what is it today.
